Hereva is a world of magic created by the forces of Chaos & Evolutions. There, all creatures can make simple magic deeds, but some people devote their lifes to the study of these magic forces. These persons are known as the Witches of Hereva.
Witchcraft: Magic of Hereva is a supplement for the 5th Edition of the most popular Role Playing Game in the world, that lets you create player characters with the class Witch of Hereva, on the style of the web comic Pepper & Carrot.
In Hereva, the magic is peculiar, it’s different to what we expect from a regular 5e campaign, but with this supplement you’ll be able to add this kind of characters to an existing campaign or a new one.
Game Masters could also use these characters as NPC’s for their current ongoing campaign.
This supplement includes one new character class, the Witch of Hereva. Among the main features of this class you’ll find: a familiar, recover magic energy (called Rea) by external sources, magic item creation, and new spells research. This means this you’ll find new rules for magic item creation and spell research for 5e in general too.
Witches of Hereva focus their studies in one of the six different magic schools. They group in six Witchcraft Houses (or sub-classes), each one specialized in one of these schools.
Starting from the character’s 2nd level you will have to choose one of the six Houses to specialize:
– Ah: This is the House of after-life, ghosts and souls. This house is the bridge from and to other universes.
– Aquah: The House of water, wind, clouds and the abyss. This is the most misterious of the six witchcraft houses since they spend most of their time underwater.
– Chaosah: The House of time, gravity, nuclear effects, and underground divine forces. They claim that it’s the source of all magic.
– Hippiah: The House of plants, creatures, insects, and all living things. It’s the most house with most adepts, it’s so useful for daily tasks that regular people of Hereva use it without even thinking about it.
– Magmah: The House of cooking, alchemy and rare metals. This is another very useful school, since it’s used not only to cook, but it’s also a very effective type of magic in combat.
– Zombiah: The House of macabre and transformation; death, zombies, darkness, recycling, re-use, and animation. Even if not well seen by everybody, Zombiah are the most curious of houses and the one most inclined to research and creation.
When I started writing this rules my intention was to be able to create a full party made of only Witches, like in the web comic. That’s why each of thise sub-classes fulfill a different role in the game. And that’s why it should be easy to add a Witch of Hereva in any currently running campaign.
For example, in combat, Witches of Ah are more defensive, Witches of Magmah are more aggresive, and Witches of Zombiah are more utilitarian.
Other things you will find in this document are new backgrounds, traits, feats and feats to create original characters from this world.
